About
...home
POZA project has no home as such. It exists where there is enough curiosity for creativity, development and artistic discovery. POZA owns no building and is not bound to any place therefore POZA can happen anywhere. |
...philosophy behind the words
‘poza’ is a Polish word which means ‘out of’, ‘outside of’, ‘beyond’, which is connected to the fact that POZAproject aims to reach out of ordinary frames of thinking and common ways of training and creating. Also because of POZA’s unusual format of combining studies, training and creative processes it stands outside of traditional and rigid frame |
...inspiration
The main inspiration for POZAproject comes from the need to experiment, expand and explore various artistic genres (movement, sound, visuals, text) by introducing brave approaches towards researching and creating. POZA was also born out of a wish for ‘togetherness’, which will be reflected through working in a small but solid and committed ensemble. POZAproject aims to inspire people by giving them tools for working individually or perhaps sparking new exciting collaborations. It looks for the synthesis between different artistic genres and creates a platform for exchange and collaboration, initiating dialogue between artists of different backgrounds. POZA’s short existence echoes a ‘pause’ - something brief that appears for a few weeks and then it changes its format to appear again with different ideas, aims, tasks, people etc. Each POZAproject will be different, which means you can take part in it as long as it keeps you stimulated and growing. |
...suitability
POZA is created for all those who are deeply interested in exploring various artistic disciplines but have no opportunity to develop this interest due to various life reasons. It combines creative process and training. POZA is flexible enough to adjust to the needs of participants, taking into consideration their life commitments. Although we welcome everyone, the program of POZA is quite intense and physically demanding so its up to the participants to decide whether they are able to take the challenge |
